| Abstract: | Obalový odpad, zejména ten plastový a plechový, představuje světový problém pro životní prostředí. Zálohování obalů se stává stále více diskutovaným tématem jakožto ověřená metoda, jak zvýšit úroveň třídění i recyklace. V České republice tento systém zatím nefunguje, a tak je důležité porozumět, jak ho Češi vnímají a co o něm už dnes vědí. Cílem práce je provést situační analýzu postoje a znalostí Čechů na zálohový systém na základě věku a pohlaví. Pro dosažení cíle byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření. Za účelem zvýšení validity proběhl kvótní výběr. Výzkum ukázal, že čeští spotřebitelé jsou poměrně dobře obeznámeni s aspekty tohoto systému. Nejvyšší znalost a podporu vykazují starší ročníky oproti těm mladším a dle pohlaví častěji muži než ženy. Závěrem práce ukazuje, že podpora českých spotřebitelů se liší na základě jejich věku a pohlaví, avšak některé detaily plánovaného systému jim zůstávají stále nejasné. |

| Abstract: | Packaging waste, especially plastic and metal, is a global environmental and health problem. Deposit-refund system is becoming an increasingly discussed topic as a proven method to increase sorting and recycling rates. In the Czech Republic, this system does not yet work, so it is important to understand how Czechs perceive it and what they already know about it. The aim of this thesis is to conduct a situational analysis of Czechs' attitudes and knowledge on the deposit-refund system based on age and gender. In order to achieve the objective, quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey was conducted. In order to increase validity, quota sampling was conducted. The research showed that Czech consumers are quite familiar with aspects of the system. Knowledge and support is highest among the older age groups compared to the younger ones and by gender more often among men than women. In conclusion, this thesis shows that Czech consumers' support varies based on their age and gender, but some details of the planned system remain unclear to them. |
