The theoretical part of the thesis defines key terms related to stress, its causes and consequences, as well as methods for stress resolution and its influence on work performance. In the empirical section of the thesis, the results of a quantitative questionnaire survey are presented, supplemented by information obtained through qualitative research in the form of focus groups. Data from both studies are further supported by information from internal company sources. A key finding is that the greatest stress factor is workload, despite employees expressing high satisfaction. It is also found that stress strongly influences employee performance. As the main recommendation for the company, a change in mental health support and adjustment of internal processes is proposed. Furthermore, it is recommended for the employer to pay more attention to this issue, which could lead to the creation of a healthier work environment. |
