| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá finančním zdravím podniku Mattoni 1873 a.s. Práce má za cíl zhodnotit finanční situaci, ve které se firma nachází, a její finanční strategii, nastínit, jak si firma vede v porovnání s konkurencí, odhalit slabé stránky a doporučit managementu kroky, které by mohly pomoci k eliminaci slabých stránek. Finanční analýza byla realizována na základě analýzy veřejně dostupných účetních závěrek a výročních zpráv firmy v období mezi 2018–2022. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na 2 hlavní části, a to na teoretickou část a na praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní metody a principy, které jsou pro finanční analýzu použity. V praktické části jsou metody a principy, které byla v teoretické části vysvětleny, aplikovány. Základními metodami a principy, které byly při finanční analýze použity, je analýza absolutních ukazatelů, analýza poměrových ukazatelů, aplikování bilančních pravidel, ekonomická přidaná hodnota, pyramidový rozklad ROE a bonitní a bankrotní modely. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty hlavní poznatky získané z finanční analýzy, zhodnocení současné ekonomické situace firmy a je zde navrženo doporučení pro management firmy, které by mělo pomoci eliminovat slabé stránky podniku. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the financial health of Mattoni 1873 a.s. The thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation the company is in and its financial strategy, outline how the company is doing in comparison to its competitors, identify weaknesses and recommend to management steps that could help to eliminate weaknesses. The financial analysis has been carried out by analysing the publicly available financial statements and annual reports of the firm between 2018-2022. The bachelor thesis is divided into 2 main parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic methods and principles that are used for financial analysis. In the practical part, the methods and principles explained in the theoretical part are applied. The basic methods and principles that have been used in financial analysis are absolute ratio analysis, ratio analysis, applying balance sheet rules, economic value added, pyramid decomposition of ROE and creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. The thesis concludes with a summary of the main findings obtained from the financial analysis, an assessment of the current economic situation of the company and proposes recommendations for the management of the company to help eliminate the weaknesses of the company. |
