| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje ekonometrickému modelování a prognóze tržní ceny zlata na vybraném časovém úseku. Klíčovou funkci plní model ARIMA. První část diplomové práce se zabývá teoretickými východisky ohledně zlatého kovu a základy vybraných statistických ukazatelů. Analytická část se věnuje modelování tržní ceny zlata a následné predikci. Velmi důležitou roli hraje statistická a ekonometrická verifikace s využitím statistických metod. Poslední část shrnuje výsledky diagnostických testů a predikce. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with econometric modelling and forecasting of the market price of gold over a selected time period. The key function is performed by the ARIMA model. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical background of the gold metal and the basics of selected statistical indicators. The analytical part deals with the modelling of the gold market price and the subsequent forecasting. Statistical and econometric verification using statistical methods plays a very important role. The last part summarizes the results of diagnostic tests and further prediction. |
