| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je položit základy tématu úvěrových kovenantů do teorie v českém prostředí a v jednotlivých kapitolách shrnout nejdůležitější poznatky zahraniční odborné literatury na toto téma. Nejprve jsou úvěrové kovenanty definovány a je představena jejich základní kategorizace. Dále práce vysvětluje roli kovenantů v úvěrových aktivitách podniku a z pohledu banky vysvětluje jaké faktory ovlivňují stanovení kovenantů. Také se věnuje rizikům porušení kovenantů a jejich následkům. V praktické části je ukázán výpočet kovenantů z modelové úvěrové smlouvy podniku Pilulka Lékárny, a.s. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to lay the foundations of the topic of loan covenants in theory in the Czech environment and to summarize the most important findings of foreign academic literature on this topic in its individual chapters. First, loan covenants are defined, and their basic categorization is presented. Furthermore, the thesis explains the role of covenants in the company's loan activities and, from the bank's point of view, explains which factors influence the determination of covenants. The thesis also deals with the risks of violating covenants and their consequences. The practical part shows the calculation of covenants from a model loan agreement of the company Pilulka Lékárny, a.s. |
