| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá procesem řízení rizik v prostředí českého pojistného a zajistného trhu, jehož součástí je dodržování regulací a směrnic na národní i nadnárodní úrovni. Mezi tyto regulace patří především Zákon č. 277/2009 Sb., o pojišťovnictví a na úrovni Evropské Unie je to Solvency II, které jsou náležitě popsány v této práci, a byly také hlavními zdroji při vypracování této práce společně s knihou Tomáše Cipry Riziko ve financích a pojišťovnictví: Basel III a Solvency II. Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s riziky, kterým jsou pojišťovací a zajišťovací společnosti vystaveny – tedy riziko upisovací, tržní, úvěrové, likviditní, operační, strategické, obchodní a reputační; a poté následně zanalyzovat rizikové profily vybraných pojišťoven a zajišťovny a jejich řídící strategie. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the process of risk management in the Czech insurance and reinsurance market environment, which includes compliance with regulations and directives at the national and supranational level. These regulations include primarily Zákon č. 277/2009 Sb., o pojišťovnictví and at the European Union level Solvency II, both of them are duly described in this thesis, and were also the main sources in the development of this thesis together with Tomas Cipra's book Riziko ve financích a pojišťovnictví: Basel III a Solvency II. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the risks to which insurance and reinsurance companies are exposed - i.e. underwriting, market, credit, liquidity, operational, strategic, commercial and reputational risk; and then to subsequently analyse the risk profiles of selected insurance and reinsurance companies and their management strategies. |
