| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem a posouzením implementace ESG strategií do činnosti firem na příkladu českého bankovního sektoru. Hlavním cílem je posoudit dodržování aktuálně stanovených, a v budoucnu povinně auditovatelných standardů a identifikovat nedostatky v současné aplikaci konceptu ESG v činnosti České spořitelny, a.s. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována množství zveřejňovaných informací a dodržování právních předpisů. V první části práce je popsána definice ESG, jeho klíčové složky, fenomén greenwashingu a koncept Net Zero. Druhá část se věnuje různým mezinárodním dohodám týkajícím se environmentálních otázek a hlavním normám, směrnicím a předpisům. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na podrobné posouzení toho, jak Česká spořitelna dodržuje standardy a kolik informací zveřejňuje v souladu s novými environmentálními předpisy. Cílem je identifikovat nedostatky v aplikaci konceptu ESG a navrhnout možná zlepšení. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the description and assessment of the implementation of ESG strategies in the activities of companies on the example of the Czech banking sector. The main objective is to assess compliance with the set standards, that will be required to be audited in the future, and to identify shortcomings in the application of the ESG concept in the activities of Česká spořitelna, a.s. Special attention is paid to the amount of disclosed information and compliance with legal regulations. The first part of the thesis describes the definition of ESG, its key components, the phenomenon of greenwashing and the Net Zero concept. The second part deals with various international agreements concerning environmental issues and the main standards, directives, and regulations. The practical part of the thesis focuses on a detailed assessment of how Česká spořitelna, a.s. complies with the standards and how much information it discloses in accordance with the new environmental regulations. The aim is to identify gaps in the application of the ESG concept and suggest possible improvements. |
