| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaobírá finančními konglomeráty v Evropské unii a České republice. V první části je definován finanční konglomerát, uvedeny jeho benefity a struktura. Druhá část zahrnuje přijaté zákony týkající se finančních konglomerátů a soustředí se na jejich možná rizika. Následně jsou objasněna specifika regulace a dohledu nad těmito subjekty a identifikovány výhody i nevýhody těchto uskupení. Významnou součástí je objasnění konceptu systémové významnosti. Dále jsou určeny způsoby výpočtu kapitálové přiměřenosti a metody výpočtu pro systémově významnou instituci. Třetí, aplikační část, se zabývá komparací mateřské Societe General a její dceřiné společnosti Komerční banky, a.s. a obdobně je provedeno také porovnání u finančního konglomerátu UniCredit. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with financial conglomerates in European union and Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis defines financial conglomerate, points out benefits at the time of creation and describes the structure of conglomerate. The second part mentions adopted laws about financial conglomerates and its risks. The following part explains regulation and supervision with its pros and cons and the concept of systematic importance. Finally, the methods of calculating capital adequacy and the calculation method of a systemically significant institution will be determined. The third part deals with a comparison of parent company Societe General and subsidiary company Komernci banka with the same concept at UniCredit. |
