Abstract:
The aims of the thesis are to examine the city branding of Helsinki from the city managers’ point of view and to understand how the city brand of Helsinki is perceived among international students. The thesis uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative research to fulfill the aims. A set of interviews with the city managers was conducted and a survey was distributed among international students in Finland. Based on the findings, conclusions and specific recommendations were formed.

Abstract:
Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, jaký je branding města Helsinky z pohledu city brand manažerů. Vedlejším cílem je poté zjistit, jak je značka města Helsinky vnímána mezi mezinárodními studenty ve Finsku. Tyto cíle jsou dosaženy pomocí kombinace kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu: hloubkových rozhovorů s city brand manažery a dotazníkového šetření. Na základě výzkumu jsou poté formovány závěry a konkrétní doporučení.
