Diplomová práce se zabývá podstatnými aspekty data governance a jejím významem v podnikové praxi. Hlavním cílem této práce je posoudit úroveň vyspělosti správy dat ve vybrané organizaci, identifikovat prioritní oblasti a navrhnout opatření ke zlepšení současné situace. První část práce představuje teoretický rámec data governance, zahrnující definici konceptu, jeho význam, a přehled současných trendů a výzev. Druhá část se zaměřuje na aplikaci těchto poznatků ve vybrané společnosti, kde je prováděna analýza stávajícího stavu správy dat. Výsledkem této analýzy jsou konkrétní doporučení pro zlepšení správy dat, včetně identifikace prioritních oblastí a navržení kroků pro jejich řešení. Hlavním přínosem práce je vytvoření uceleného rámce pro hodnocení a zlepšení data governance, který může být použit v různých typech organizací. |

| Abstract: |
The diploma thesis deals with the essential aspects of data governance and its importance in business practice. The main objective of this thesis is to assess the level of data governance maturity in a selected organization, identify priority areas and propose measures to improve the current situation. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical framework of data governance, including the definition of the concept, its importance, and an overview of current trends and challenges. The second part focuses on the application of these findings in the selected company, where an analysis of the current state of data governance is conducted. This analysis results in specific recommendations for improving data governance, including identifying priority areas and proposing effective steps to address them. The main contribution of the paper is the development of a comprehensive framework for evaluating and improving data governance that can be applied in different types of organizations. |
