Application support of the methodology for modelling and analysing business processes

This diploma thesis is focused on the application support of the methodology for modelling and analysing business processes. It deals with the analysis and modelling of business processes and the consistency between individual models and workflow management systems. The main aim of this thesis is to explain the researched issue, to describe a company and model its processes based on the MMABP methodology, to create and evaluate a prototype of a process system in the Camunda tool environment, and to create a methodology for designing and implementing a process system using two tools, Team assistant and Camunda, which will also consider the MMABP methodology. The work was divided into three parts. In each chapter, we can find a search of the sources used for that chapter. The first part theoretically defines the topic of business process management. A reader is introduced to researched issues. The second part deals with the MMABP methodology and the consistency of the models, either alone or among several models. The third part is focused on analysing the workflow management systems, and also, here the created prototype is described and evaluated, and a methodology for designing and implementing a process system using the Team assistant tool and Camunda tool is also created.
