Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou decentralizovaného přístupu k odvětví sportovního sázení neboli sportsbettingu. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit rozsah působení decentralizovaných burz v odvětví sportovního sázení, analyzovat výhody a nevýhody decentralizovaných burz ve srovnání s tradičními centralizovanými platformami, zejména z hlediska bezpečnosti a soukromí uživatelů, a v neposlední řadě pochopit postoje tvůrců trhu k těmto novým technologiím a na to, jak tyto postoje ovlivňují rozvoj a přijetí decentralizovaných platforem v širším kontextu sportovního sázení. K zjištění stavu zkoumané problematiky byla využita kvalitativní analýza formou případové studie skrze rozhovory. Zjištěné výsledky nejen doplnily již zmíněnou teorii o zkušenosti respondentů, ale poskytly i jedinečný pohled na danou problematiku z pozice market makera, firmy Ematiq ltd., pro platformu BetDEX. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis deals with the issue of decentralized approach to the sports betting industry. The aim of the thesis was to assess the scope of decentralized exchanges in the sports betting industry, to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of decentralized exchanges compared to traditional centralized platforms, especially in terms of security and user privacy and last but not least to understand the attitudes of market makers towards these new technologies and how these attitudes affect the development and adoption of decentralized platforms in the broader context of sportsbetting. A qualitative analysis in the form of a case study through interviews was done to establish the status of the issues under investigation. The findings not only expanded the theory with the experiences of the respondents but also provided a unique perspective on the issue from the perspective of the market maker Ematiq ltd for the BetDEX platform. |
