Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ekonomickými a geopolitickými důvody nárůstu zlatých rezerv v Asii v letech 2008 až 2024. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, proč dochází v posledních 15 letech k akumulaci zlatých rezerv v asijských zemích. Práce se nejprve zabývá obecnými ekonomickými a geopolitickými důvody k držbě zlatých rezerv a souvislostmi pohybů devizových rezerv a běžných účtů platební bilance. Dále je zkoumán vývoj zlatých rezerv ve světě se zaměřením na specifické regiony. Poslední část zkoumá ekonomické a geopolitické důvody nárůstu zlatých rezerv v Asii v období 2008-2024 se zaměřením na specifické důvody konkrétních států, a co tyto strategie přináší. |

This bachelor's thesis deals with the economic and geopolitical reasons for the increase in gold reserves in Asia from 2008 to 2024. The main objective of this thesis is to determine why there has been an accumulation of gold reserves in Asian countries over the past 15 years. The thesis first addresses the general economic and geopolitical reasons for holding gold reserves and the connections between movements in foreign exchange reserves and current account balances. It then examines the development of gold reserves worldwide with a focus on specific regions. The final part explores the economic and geopolitical reasons for the increase in gold reserves in Asia during the period 2008-2024, focusing on the specific reasons of individual countries and what these strategies bring. |
