| Abstract: | Cílem mé práce je podrobná analýza platební bilance Itálie v letech 2005–2024. Pomocí grafů ukážu vývoj jednotlivých účtů platební bilance, okomentuji hlavní trendy a pokusím se interpretovat jejich příčiny i dopady. Zaměřím se nejen na samotná salda, ale také na širší makroekonomické souvislosti, jako je vývoj konkurenceschopnosti, cen energií, investičních toků či strukturální změny v italské ekonomice. Na závěr práce zhodnotím tvar vnější ekonomické rovnováhy a posoudím, zda je takový vývoj udržitelný z dlouhodobého hlediska. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to describe the development of Italy’s balance of payments between 2005 and 2024 and to place it in the context of the evolution of the Italian economy and the events that, during this period, affected not only Italy but also the rest of the world. I chose this time frame because it covers several crucial events in recent history. In the first part of the examined period, I will address the consequences of the outbreak of the global financial crisis; I will then observe the impacts of the European sovereign debt crisis, and towards the end of the period, I will include the COVID-19 pandemic and the onset of the energy crisis linked to the war in Ukraine. |
