It provides an outlook into the strategy and risk management implications of this endeavor and examines the requirements in this domain. The thesis is divided into six main chapters, where the first three are devoted to compiling the relevant information according to the current literature in the fields of the New York Stock Exchange, including its development, alternatives, listing processes, and strategy and risk management factors of listing. Further, the thesis develops a single case study of a Czech company in preparation for the New York Stock Exchange listing through an interview with its key expert. It compiles the knowledge gained in the previous chapters and examines the strategies and risks the company considers vital in its current operations. Methodologically, the thesis combines a theoretical framework with literature research and an analysis of the operations of a concrete company through an interview and an outlook of internal documents. The aim is to describe the listing process as a whole and draw implications that Czech companies can take into account when listing on the New York Stock Exchange. |
