Tato diplomová práce analyzuje a následně porovnává gender pay gap v České republice a Rakousku mezi pěti věkovými skupinami: pod 25 let, 25-34 let, 35-44 let, 45-54 let a 55–64 let. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumat, jak se gender pay gap liší napříč těmito věkovými kategoriemi a identifikovat faktory, které tyto rozdíly ovlivňují. Analýza je založena na datech z Eurostatu, Evropského institutu pro rovnost žen a mužů (EIGE) a Eurobarometru. Výstupem práce je komparace gender pay gapu v České republice a Rakousku s důrazem na rozdíly ve vybraných věkových skupinách. |

This thesis analyzes and subsequently compares the gender pay gap in the Czech Republic and Austria among five age groups: under 25 years, 25-34 years, 35-44 years, 45-54 years, and 55–64 years. The main goal of the thesis is to explore how the gender pay gap varies across these age categories and to identify factors that influence these differences. The analysis is based on data from Eurostat, the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), and Eurobarometer. The output of the thesis is a comparison of the gender pay gap in the Czech Republic and Austria, with an emphasis on differences in selected age groups. |
