| Abstract: |
Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice obchodování s lidmi, a to z hlediska souladu vnitrostátního a mezinárodního práva, na příkladu Venezuely. Práce na několika případech přibližuje charakter obchodování s lidmi ve zmíněné latinskoamerické zemi. Poukázáno je na to, že ačkoliv domácí legislativní úprava existuje (s jistými odchylkami od Palermského protokolu) a stanovuje trestní sankce, dodržování právních předpisů v této oblasti výrazně pokulhává. Tematizováno je především zapojení pracovníků státních institucí na porušování lidských práv v souvislosti s obchodováním s lidmi. Práce rovněž poukazuje na reakci států i jiných aktérů, kteří prostřednictvím sankcí trestají porušování práva a vynucují mezinárodněprávní závazky a také těch, kteří naopak Venezuelu v jejím počínání podporují na mezinárodní scéně. |

| Abstract: |
The thesis focuses on the issue of human trafficking from the perspective of compliance of national and international law, on the case of Venezuela. The thesis uses various cases to present the nature of human trafficking in Venezuela. It is pointed out that although domestic legislation exists (with some deviations from the Palermo Protocol) and provides for criminal sanctions, behavioral compliance in this area is significantly lacking. In particular, the involvement of state officials in human rights violations in the context of human trafficking is addressed. The thesis also highlights the response of states and other international actors who use sanctions to punish violations and enforce international legal obligations, as well as those who, in turn, support Venezuela in its conduct in the international arena. |
