| Abstract: |
Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat vliv kulturních rozdílů na účinnost metod stano-vování cílů pomocí metody SMART u studentů FM VŠE. Studie se zaměřuje na po-rovnání vnímání a používání této metody studenty z individualistických a kolektivistic-kých kultur. Data byla sbírána pomocí online dotazníků a analyzována kvantitativními metodami. Výsledky ukazují, že metoda SMART efektivně funguje v různých kultur-ních kontextech, podporuje jasnost cílů, snižuje prokrastinaci a zvyšuje motivaci stu-dentů. Mezi kulturami nebyly zjištěny žádné významné rozdíly v preferencích a účin-nosti, což potvrzuje univerzálnost metody SMART. Na základě výsledků se doporuču-je, aby studenti aktivně zapojovali metodu SMART do svého studijního procesu, což by jim nejen pomohlo zlepšit studijní výsledky, ale také se lépe připravit na úspěšnou profesní kariéru. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of cultural differences on the effectiveness of goal-setting methods using the SMART method among students of the FM VŠE. The study focuses on the comparison of the perception and use of this method by students from individualistic and collectivistic cultures. Data were collected using online questionnaires and analyzed using quantitative methods. The results show that the SMART method works effectively in different cultural contexts, promotes goal clarity, reduces procrastination and increases student motivation. No significant differences in preferences and effectiveness were found between cultures, confirming the universality of the SMART method. Based on the results, it is recommended that students actively implement the SMART method into their learning process, which would not only help them improve their academic performance but also better prepare them for a successful professional career. |
