V této bakalářské práce se zabývám neoformalistickou analýzou filmu Strom života, nalezením jeho dominanty a zjištěním, které z filmových prostředků, vztahujících se k dominantě, jsou použité dokumentárním stylem. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první, teoretické, části popisuji pojmy filmových prostředků, které používám v praktické části při analýzě. Druhá část práce je praktická. Záměřuje se na neoformalistickou analýzu filmu. Před zahájením analýzy udělám přehled historického kontextu: pre- a post-kompozičních faktorů; určím dominantu filmu. Neoformalistická analýza je rozdělena do dvou části: narativní a stylová. V narativní analýzě zkoumám vztah syžete a fabule. Ve analýzě stylu zkoumám prvky kamery, střihu, zvuku a mizanscény, které se vztahují k dominantě filmu a jak ovlivňují vnímání filmu. Po provedení jednotlivých analýz shrnuju, jaké z těchto prvků byly použité dokumentárním stylem. |

In this bachelor's thesis, I undertake a neoformalist analysis of the film The Tree of Life, finding its dominant and identifying which of the film devices related to the dominant are used in a documentary style. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical, part I describe the concepts of film devices that I use in the practical part of the analysis. The second part of the thesis is practical. It focuses on the neoformalist analysis of the film. Before starting the analysis, I make an overview of the historical context: pre- and post-compositional factors; I identify the dominant of the film. The neoformalist analysis is divided into two parts: narrative and stylistic. In the narrative analysis, I examine the relationship between syzhet and fabula. In the style analysis, I examine the elements of cinematography, editing, sound, and mise-en-scene that relate to the film's dominant and how they affect the perception of the film. After each analysis, I summarize which of these elements were used in the documentary style. |
