Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou paradoxu volby v kontextu streamovacích platforem se zaměřením na Netflix. Paradox volby je fenomén, kdy nadměrné množství možností vede k rozhodovací paralýze a snížení celkové spokojenosti. Cílem práce je prozkoumat, jak široká nabídka obsahu na streamovacích platformách ovlivňuje roz-hodovací procesy a divácký zážitek, a to konkrétně na platformě Netflix. Výzkum kom-binuje teoretické poznatky s daty získanými prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetřetní. Výsledky ukazují, že nadměrný výběr vede k nižší spokojenosti uživatelů Netflixu. Prá-ce se také snaží o nalezení cesty, jak se přetížení obsahem vyhnout. Navrhnutá řešení se ale neprokázala jako dostatečně účinná. |

This thesis analyses the paradox of choice in the context of streaming platforms with a focus on Netflix. The paradox of choice is a phenomenon in which an excessive number of choices leads to decision paralysis and reduction of overall satisfaction. The aim of this paper is to explore how the wide range of content on streaming platforms affects decision-making processes and user experience, specifically on the Netflix platform. The research combines theoretical findings with data collected through a questionnaire. The results show that excessive amount of options leads to lower Netflix user satisfaction. The thesis also tries to find a way to avoid content overload. However, the proposed solutions did not prove to be effective enough. |
