Cílem této diplomové práce je prozkoumat, jak přímé zahraniční investice ovlivňují vnější rovnováhu České republiky během vybraného období. Úvodní část zkoumá definici a distribuci přímých zahraničních investic, jakož i důvody jejich přílivu do hostitelské země a výhody, které mohou přinést. Následující část se zabývá historickým vývojem přímých zahraničních investic v České republice, vývojem českých investic v zahraničí a dopadem přílivu přímých zahraničních investic na běžný a finanční účet. Závěrečná část práce analyzuje vliv přímých zahraničních investic na vnější rovnováhu České republiky. |

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how foreign direct investment affects the external balance of the Czech Republic during the selected period. The introductory part represents the definition and distribution of foreign direct investment, as well as the reasons for its inflow to the host country and the benefits it can bring. The following section examines the historical development of FDI in the Czech Republic, the evolution of Czech investments abroad and the impact of FDI inflows on the current and financial accounts. The final part of the paper analyses the impact of FDI on the external balance of the Czech Republic. |
