Tématem diplomové práce je Analýza připravovaného návrhu Směrnice VAT in Digital Age „ViDA“, který Evropská komise představila v roce 2022 s postupnou plánovanou implementací v Evropské unii. První kapitola je věnována teoretické části, která je zaměřena na vymezení digitální společnosti a souvisejících pojmů. Dále je kapitola věnována obsahu návrhu Směrnice. Druhá část práce je konkétně zaměřena na druhý pilíř návrhu Směrnice a to, uplatňování DPH z hlediska ekonomiky platforem. V závěru je zmíněn růst digitalizace, daňová mezera na DPH a zhodnocení nerovnosti výběru DPH u poskytovatelů služeb krátkodobého ubytování a osobní přepravy přes platformy a tradičními poskytovateli. |

| Abstract: |
The main theme of the thesis is the Analysis of the proposal of the VAT in Digital Age Directive "ViDA", which has been presented by the European Commission in 2022 with a staged implementation in the European Union. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical part, which focuses on the definition of the digital economy and the definition of related concepts. Then the chapter is devoted to the content of the proposed Directive. The second part of the thesis focuses specifically on the second pillar of the proposed Directive, that is, the application of VAT in terms of platform economics. It concludes with a discussion of the growth of digitization, the VAT tax gap and an assessment of the inequality of VAT collection between providers of short-term accommodation and personal transport services via platforms and traditional providers. |
