| Abstract: | Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza a následná komparace penzijních systémů České republiky a Kanady se zaměřením na starobní důchody v letech 2000 až 2023. V teoretické části autorka definuje základní pojmy z oblasti sociální politiky a následně se zabývá základními typologiemi penzijních modelů včetně jejich zařazení do historického kontextu. V této části je také podrobně popsán historický vývoj penzijních systémů České republiky a Kanady včetně jejich důležitých milníků a reforem. V praktické části autorka zkoumá současná nastavení penzijních systémů obou zemí a pomocí komparační analýzy oba systémy porovnává na základě demografického vývoje jednotlivých zemí. Práce dochází k závěru, že ačkoli vzhledem k nepříznivému demografickému vývoji není ani jeden ze systémů dlouhodobě plně udržitelný, kanadský důchodový systém vykazuje vyšší efektivitu ve srovnání s českým. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis and subsequent comparison of the pension systems of the Czech Republic and Canada with a focus on old-age pensions between 2000 and 2023. In the theoretical part, the author defines basic concepts in the field of social policy and then discusses the basic typologies of pension models, including their placement in a historical context. The historical development of the Czech and Canadian pension systems, including their important milestones and reforms, is also described in detail. In the practical part, the author examines the current settings of the pension systems of both countries and uses comparative analysis to compare the two systems based on the demographic development of each country. The thesis concludes that although neither system is fully sustainable in the long term due to unfavourable demographic trends, the Canadian pension system shows higher efficiency compared to the Czech pension system. |
