Bakalářská práce poskytuje přehled rizik a nákladů spojených se vstupem Ukrajiny do Evropské unie. Současná výkonnost ukrajinské ekonomiky nedosahuje úrovně členských zemí Evropské unie. Ukrajina nesplňuje jak kodaňská kritéria vstupu do EU, tak ani maastrichtská kritéria pro vstup do eurozóny. Výzkum ukazuje, že ukrajinské HDP bylo v letech 2017–2022 několikanásobně nižší než průměrné HDP EU27. Dále se ukazuje, že Ukrajina neměla pod kontrolou inflaci, kde byla pozorována ve většině let v období 2017–2022 pádivá inflace. Byly identifikovány institucionální a ekonomické aspekty vstupu Ukrajiny do EU, přičemž se ukázalo, že vstup Ukrajiny do EU by mohl vyvolat konfliktní situaci mezi stávajícími zeměmi EU. Závěr práce obsahuje autorova doporučení, včetně SWOT analýzy potenciálního vstupu Ukrajiny do EU z pohledu Evropské unie, ale i samotné Ukrajiny. |

| Abstract: |
The bachelor's thesis provides an overview of the risks and costs associated with Ukraine's accession to the European Union. The current performance of the Ukrainian economy does not meet the level of EU member states. Ukraine does not fulfill the Copenhagen criteria for EU entry nor the Maastricht criteria for joining the Eurozone. The research indicates that Ukraine's GDP was significantly lower than the average GDP of the EU27 from 2017 to 2022. Furthermore, Ukraine did not have inflation under control, with galloping inflation observed in most of the years from 2017 to 2022. Institutional and economic aspects of Ukraine's entry into the EU were identified, showing that Ukraine's accession could create conflicts among existing EU countries. The conclusion of the thesis includes the author's recommendations, along with a SWOT analysis of the potential entry of Ukraine into the EU from the perspective of both the European Union and Ukraine itself. |
