Cílem diplomové práce je porovnat situaci v jednotlivých zemích EU s ohledem na souvislosti mezi vývojem socio-ekonomických determinantů a financováním zdravotní péče a zjistit závislost mezi proměnnými. Závislou proměnnou jsou výdaje na zdravotnictví per capita vyjádřená v mezinárodních dolarech respektující paritu kupní síly a nezávislé proměnné jsou míra nezaměstnanosti, Giniho index a podíl obyvatel ve věku 25–34 let s terciárním vzděláním. Zkoumaným subjektem je vztah mezi vybranými socio-ekonomickými determinanty (nezaměstnanost, příjmová nerovnost, úroveň vzdělání populace) a výdaji na zdravotní péči. Objektem jsou zkoumané země EU včetně Velké Británie, jednotlivé ukazatele socio-ekonomického rozvoje a zároveň výdaje na zdravotnictví. V teoretické části jsou uvedena teoretická východiska zdravotní péče, výdajů na zdravotnictví a vybrané determinanty. V analytické části jsou použity metody zkoumání: vývoj v čase za období 2010-2021 a regresní analýza. Údaje jsou čerpány z oficiálních stránek Světové banky a Eurostatu. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of the thesis is to compare the situation in the EU countries in terms of the relationship between the development of socio-economic determinants and health care financing and to determine the dependence between these variables. The dependent variable is health care expenditure per capita expressed in international dollars respecting purchasing power parity, and the independent variables are the unemployment rate, the Gini index and the share of the population aged 25-34 with tertiary education. The subject of the thesis is the relationship between selected socio-economic determinants (unemployment, income inequality, educational level of the population) and health care expenditures. The object of this study is the examined EU countries including Great Britain, individual indicators of socio-economic development and at the same time expenditure on healthcare. In the theoretical part, the theoretical background of health care, health care expenditures and selected determinants are presented. In the analytical part, research methods are used: time trends over the period 2010-2021 and regression analysis. Data are taken from the official websites of the World Bank and Eurostat. |
