| Abstract: |
Množství dat, které mají organizace k dispozici stále roste. Jejich využití je pro firmy klíčové, jelikož mohou představovat konkurenční výhodu. Vyšší informovanost přispívá k lepšímu rozhodování a výkon firmy se tak může zvýšit. Diplomová práce zkoumá využití analytického nástroje Power BI pro sledování dopravních nákladů na případové studii společnosti Nestlé. V nástroji Power BI byla analyzována a zobrazena fakturační data společnosti Nestlé CZ&SK. V následném rozhovoru nad reportingem v Power BI s manažerkou distribuce byl potvrzen přínos nového nástroje a zvýšení informovanosti oddělení distribuce. Reporting přináší nový pohled na fakturační data, který ve společnosti doposud chyběl. Přínosem je dynamičnost reportu a zobrazení aktuálních, ne pouze historických dat. Nástroj je možné rozšířit do dalších zemí regionu nebo lze přidat další datový zdroj, např.: informace o objednávkách, a tím vytvořit komplexní report. |

| Abstract: |
The amount of data available to organizations is constantly growing. Its usage is key for companies as it can be a competitive advantage. Greater awareness contributes to better decision making and company’s performance can increase. The diploma thesis examines the application of Power BI analytical tool for transport data tracking of Nestlé. Invoicing data of Nestlé was analyzed and visualized in Power BI tool. In the consequent interview over the Power BI reporting with a manager of distribution the benefit of the new tool and increased knowledge of the distribution department was confirmed. Reporting brings new perspective on invoicing data which was missing until now. The benefit is a dynamic report and usage of current, not only historical data. The tool can be used in other countries of the region or another data source can be added to the report, e.g. order details. A complex report would be created. |
