Diplomová práce se zabývá koncepcí vzniku a náplně muzea módy v Čechách. V tuto chvíli v České republice muzeum plně svůj program věnující módě neexistuje, v jiných evropských zemích je tato praxe však běžná. V práci se autorka zaměřila na vznik potenciálního muzea módy na českém území. Teoretická část se věnuje popisu velkých evropských muzeí spravujících sbírky oděvního designu a pořádajících výstavy módě zasvěcené. V praktické části autorka provedla kvalitativní výzkum, který byl realizován formou rozhovorů s respondenty. Mezi nimi najdeme zástupce zmíněných evropských muzeí na módu programově zaměřených a reprezentanty muzeí českých, módě se okrajově věnujících. Cílem práce je navrhnout koncepci samostatného muzea módy v České republice a zároveň odhadnout jeho potenciál i možné překážky. Na základě rozhovorů se zástupci muzeí autorka analyzovala, jaké konkrétní kroky učinit pro to, aby mohlo takové muzeum existovat a programově fungovat. Autorka zároveň připravila doporučení a koncepci náplně tohoto potenciálního muzea. |

This diploma thesis explores the concept of establishing and developing a fashion museum in the Czech Republic. Currently, there is no museum in the Czech Republic solely dedicated to fashion, unlike many other European countries where such institutions are common. The author focuses on the potential creation of a fashion museum in the Czech Republic. The theoretical section provides an overview of prominent European museums that curate fashion design collections and organize fashion exhibitions. In the practical section, the author conducts qualitative research through interviews with various respondents, including representatives from major European fashion museums and Czech museums that include fashion as a marginal aspect of their exhibits. The primary goal of the thesis is to propose a concept for an independent fashion museum in the Czech Republic, evaluating its potential and identifying possible challenges. Based on the interviews with museum representatives, the author analyzes the specific steps necessary for establishing and operating such a museum. Additionally, the author offers recommendations and a detailed concept for the museum's content and programming. |
