Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výzkumem institucionálních podmínek pro rozvoj přímých zahraničních investic (PZI) ve Vietnamské socialistické republice. Cílem je poskytnout pohled na faktory ovlivňující tok zahraničních investic. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. První teoretická část popisuje přímé zahraniční investice z obecného hlediska, kde je pojem vymezen a vysvětlen prostřednictvím různých teorií, poskytujících základní rámec pro pochopení významu a mechanismů PZI. V druhé části je analyzováno investiční prostředí Vietnamu zaměřené hlavně na politický a právní rámec, obsahující zkoumání vládních politik s cílem usnadnit a podpořit tok PZI do země. Dále je znázorněn příliv investic v letech 2000-2023 a diskutovány vlivy, které vedly k jejich nárůstu či poklesu. Na závěr je zahrnuta SWOT analýza identifikující silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby. |

The bachelor thesis studies the institutional conditions affecting the development of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The purpose is to provide insight into the factors determining the flow of foreign investment. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first theoretical part outlines FDI from a general perspective, where the concept is defined and explained through various theories, offering a foundational framework for understanding the significance and mechanisms of FDI. The second part analyses the investment environment in Vietnam, focusing primarily on the policy and legal framework, including an evaluation of government policies designed to facilitate and encourage FDI inflows. This section also illustrates investment trends from 2000 to 2023 and discusses the factors that contributed to their fluctuation. Finally, a SWOT analysis identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats is presented. |
