| Abstract: |
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na poskytnutí přehledu o tom, jak pandemie COVID-19 ovlivnila šest vybraných komerčních bank v období 2017–2022, s důrazem na ověření hypotézy, zda pandemie zasáhla více vybrané velké banky ve srovnání s vybranými středními a malými bankami. V teoretické části práce je definován bankovní systém v České republice, včetně platných regulací a aktuálních trendů v bankovnictví. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována opatřením a omezením, která byla uplatněna během pandemie COVID-19. Praktická část se zaměřuje na finanční analýzu vybraných bank v daném období, přičemž zkoumá klíčové ukazatele, jako jsou pohledávky, zisk, ROAA, ROAE a kapitálová přiměřenost. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of this thesis is to provide a overview of how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted six selected commercial banks during the period from 2017 to 2022, with a focus on verifying the hypothesis of whether the pandemic had a greater effect on large banks compared to medium and small banks. The theoretical part describes the banking system in the Czech Republic, including the relevant regulations and current trends in banking. Special attention is given to the measures and restrictions implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. The practical part focuses on the financial analysis of the selected banks within the observed period, examining key indicators such as receivables, profit, ROAA, ROAE, and capital adequacy. |
