Hlavním cílem disertační práce je nalezení, popis a rozbor možné aplikace novodobých vývojových trendů na pojistných trzích. Práce se zabývá i aplikací modelu DEA pro vyhodnocení finanční stability pojišťoven v závislosti na upisovací a investiční efektivitě. V rámci výzkumu novodobých trendů se disertační práce, vyjma tlaku na změny v paradigmatech pojistné vědy, zaměřuje na problematiku narůstající četnosti přírodních katastrof a nabízí hypotetický CAT bond pro prostředí České republiky, jehož aplikaci zpětně testuje, aby se ověřilo, zdali je tento finanční instrument vhodný pro snížení rizik států či pojišťoven z rozsáhlých škod. Dále je v disertační práci diskutován trend nových pojistných produktů, přičemž je toto konkretizováno v podobě pojištění vesmírných aktivit. |

| Abstract: |
The main goal of the dissertation is to find, describe and analyse the possible application of modern development trends in insurance markets. The work also deals with the application of the DEA model for evaluation the financial stability of insurance companies depending on underwriting and investment efficiency. As part of the research of modern trends, the dissertation, apart from the pressure on changes in the paradigms of insurance science, focuses on the issue of the increasing frequency of natural disasters and offers a hypothetical CAT bond for the environment of the Czech Republic, the application of which is retrospectively tested in order to verify whether this financial instrument is suitable to reduce the risks of states and/or insurers from extensive damage. Furthermore, the trend of new insurance products is discussed as well, as it is concretized in the form of space insurance. |
