Cílem mé diplomové práce na téma "Přímé zahraniční investice a V4" je podat komplexní přehled o PZI v zemích V4. Práce se zabývá analýzami PZI v dlouhodobém časovém horizontu od roku 1993 dosud dle dostupných dat. První kapitola je věnována teoretickému vymezení pojmu PZI a jeho členění, které je doplněno o konkrétní příklady. Druhá stěžejní kapitola je věnována jednotlivým analýzám, ve kterých zkoumám pomocí přímých a nepřímých ukazatelů atraktivitu zemí pro zahraničního investora. Dále zde analyzuji vývoj PZI s důrazem zejména na příčiny odchylek přílivu PZI v jednotlivých státech V4 v průběhu celého období, dále zkoumám vybrané efekty PZI v běžném účtě platební bilance včetně komplexního pohledu na vnější ekonomickou rovnováhu a zadluženost. Na závěr se věnuji alokaci PZI v teritoriální a komoditní struktuře s detailním pohledem na rok 2019. Třetí kapitola je věnována zhodnocení celkové atraktivity jednotlivých zemí V4 na základě komparace výsledků jednotlivých analýz podle sledovaných ukazatelů, časového vývoje čistého přílivu a odlivu PZI i vývoje v teritoriální a komoditní struktuře. V práci se promítají také dopady uplynulých krizí na PZI v zemích V4 i efekty, které souvisejí mimo jiné i s přípravou na průmysl 4.0.

Abstract:
The aim of my master thesis on "Foreign Direct Investment and the V4" is to provide a comprehensive overview of FDI in the V4 countries. The thesis deals with analyses of FDI over a long time horizon from 1993 until now according to the available data. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical definition of the concept of FDI and its breakdown, which is complemented by concrete examples. The second main chapter is devoted to individual analyses in which I examine the attractiveness of countries for foreign investors using direct and indirect indicators. In addition, I analyse the evolution of FDI, focusing in particular on the reasons for the variations in FDI inflows in the individual V4 countries over the whole period, and I examine selected effects of FDI in the current account of the balance of payments, including a comprehensive view of external economic balance and indebtedness. Finally, I discuss the allocation of FDI in the territorial and commodity structure, with a detailed look at 2019. The third chapter is devoted to assessing the overall attractiveness of individual V4 countries by comparing the results of each analysis according to the indicators of interest, the time evolution of net FDI inflows and outflows, as well as developments in the territorial and commodity structure. The paper also reflects the effects of the past crises on FDI in the V4 countries as well as effects related, among others, to the preparation for Industry 4.0.
