| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou francouzsko-alžírských vztahů z perspektivy aktivity a angažmá francouzského prezidenta Emmanuela Macrona v jeho prezidentských mandátech mezi lety 2017 a 2024. Cílem jednopřípadové studie je proto pomocí kombinované metody kvantitativní a kvalitativní obsahové analýzy charakterizovat vztah mezi Francií a Alžírskem a definovat jeho klíčové oblasti. Mezi ty předkládaná práce řadí společnou paměť kolonialismu a alžírské války; bezpečnost, boj proti terorismu a migraci a nakonec obnovené partnerství a bilaterální spolupráci. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis examines the issue of Franco-Algerian relations from the perspective of the activity and engagement of French President Emmanuel Macron during his presidential mandates between 2017 and 2024. Therefore, this single-case study aims to characterize the relationship between France and Algeria and define its key areas using a combined method of quantitative and qualitative content analysis. Among the key areas, the present thesis identifies the shared memory of colonialism and the Algerian war; the fight against terrorism and migration; and finally, renewed partnership and bilateral cooperation. |
