| Abstract: | Tato práce se zaměřuje na nepříliš prozkoumané, avšak významné téma uprchlíků v oblasti sportu, s důrazem na analýzu aktivit významných mezinárodních sportovních organizací a jejich propojení se sportovní diplomacií. Cílem je zkoumat, jak se fenomén uprchlictví projevuje ve sportovním prostředí a jaké postavení mají běženci v tomto kontextu. Práce se soustředí na roli sportu v životě uprchlíků a zvláštní pozornost věnuje sportovcům-uprchlíkům, zejména prostřednictvím analýzy Olympijských týmů uprchlíků a jejich složení v souvislosti s globální uprchlickou situací. Součástí je také hodnocení programů podporujících elitní sportovce-uprchlíky a jejich účinnosti při překonávání rozdílů mezi vysídlenými a nevysídlenými sportovci, přičemž je zohledněna role sportu jako nástroje diplomacie a integrace. |

Its primary aim is to explore how the situation of refugees is reflected in the sporting environment and the position they hold within this context. The thesis also delves into the role of sport in the lives of refugees, with a special emphasis on refugee athletes. It analyzes the Refugee Olympic Teams, their composition, and their significance in the context of the global refugee situation. Furthermore, it evaluates programs supporting elite refugee athletes, assessing their effectiveness in bridging the gap between displaced and non-displaced athletes. This evaluation also considers the broader role of sport as a tool for diplomacy and integration. |
