| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zanalyzovat ekonomické dopady stárnoucí populace na sociální výdaje v České republice a Japonsku. Dále je v kontextu rostoucích sociálních výdajů hodnocena udržitelnost veřejných financí obou ekonomik. První část práce se zabývá analýzou stavu a dynamiky populačního stárnutí z pohledu historického vývoje, identifikuje hlavní příčiny a představuje také budoucí vyhlídky tohoto trendu. Druhá část analyzuje sociální výdaje, konkrétně se práce zaměřuje na výdaje na veřejné penze a zdravotnictví. Hodnotí jejich vývoj a vliv na celkovou udržitelnost veřejných financí. V poslední části jsou shrnuta opatření aplikována v Japonsku v rámci boje se stárnoucí populací a je zhodnocen jejich potenciál pro implementaci v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze the economic impacts of an aging population on social expenditures in the Czech Republic and Japan. Additionally, it evaluates the sustainability of public finances in both economies within the context of increasing social spending. The first part focuses on analyzing the state and dynamics of population aging from a historical perspective, identifying its main causes, and presenting future projections of this trend. The second part examines social expenditures, specifically public pension and healthcare spending, assessing their development and impact on the overall sustainability of public finances. The final section summarizes measures implemented in Japan to address population aging and evaluates their potential for adoption in the Czech Republic. |
