| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je vývoj webové textové chatovací aplikace pro výuku jazyků, která využívá velké jazykové modely (LLM) pro komunikaci s uživatelem. Práce popisuje současný stav poznání v oblasti výuky jazyků s LLM. Následně jsou analyzovány aplikace, které již využívají LLM pro výuku jazyků. Dále jsou zkoumány požadavky potenciálních uživatelů na takovou aplikaci. Na základě získaných informací byl proveden návrh funkcionality a designu aplikace a její následná implementace. Aplikace pomáhá uživatelům procvičovat jejich jazykové schopnosti v jazyce, který se učí. Součástí práce je také důkladné testování funkcionality a uživatelské testování. Uživatelské testování mělo převážně pozitivní zpětnou vazbu, jak v oblasti funkcionality, tak designu. Výsledkem je uživatelsky přívětivá aplikace, která používá LLM pro personalizovanou výuku jazyků. |

| Abstract: | The goal of this bachelor's thesis is the development of a web-based text chat application for language learning, which utilizes large language models to communicate with the user. The thesis explores the current state of knowledge in the field of LLM enhanced language learning. It also analyzes applications, which utilize LLMs for the purpose of language learning. Following that is the research of potential users' expectations for such an application. Based on the acquired information, a proposed list of functionality and design were made and subsequently implemented. This application helps users practice their language abilities in their target language. An important part of this thesis is a comprehensive testing of the functionality and user testing. The results of the user testing were mostly positive, regarding both functionality and design. The result of the thesis is a user friendly application which uses LLM for personalized language learning. |
