| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje srovnání efektivnosti zdravotních systémů České republiky a Spojených států amerických, jejichž systémy fungují na naprosto odlišných principech a obě země využívají jiný model zdravotnického systému. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány klíčové pojmy týkající se této problematiky, dále jsou definovány základní modely zdravotních systémů a teoretická část je uzavřena literární rešerší, která zahrnuje Rakouskou ekonomickou školu a Keynesiánství. Praktická část zahrnuje stručnou charakteristiku zdravotních systémů obou zemí, analýzu a srovnání obou systémů na základě výdajů na zdravotní péči, dostupnosti poskytovaných zdravotních služeb a demografických ukazatelů. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis focuses on comparing the efficiency of the healthcare systems in the Czech Republic and the United States of America, whose systems operate on entirely different principles, with each country utilizing a distinct healthcare model. The theoretical part defines key terms related to this topic, outlines the fundamental healthcare system models, and concludes with a literature review that includes the Austrian School of Economics and Keynesianism. The practical part provides a brief description of the healthcare systems in both countries, an analysis, and a comparison of these systems based on healthcare expenditures, the availability of healthcare services, and demographic indicators. |
