The use of intranet in the manufacturing organization

The bachelor thesis Utilization of Intranet in a Manufacturing Organization focuses on the development of an IT asset management module on the new intranet within a specific manufacturing organization. The first half of the thesis, the theoretical part, addresses concepts such as intranet and ITAM. It focuses on their definitions and the current state of knowledge. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes explanations of the methods and technologies used for the design and implementation of the project. The practical part contains analysis, design, development of the module, and testing using iterative and incremental methods. Technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, PHP, and MySQL were used for the development. The result of the thesis includes two completed iterations and half of a third, which contain the completed foundation of the module and the process of assigning an internal ID. Due to trade secrets of the company for which the work was developed, the thesis does not include the used code.
