| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na uplatněním principů a postupů Lean managementu v objednávkovém procesu společnosti Feromax, a.s. Cílem práce je navrhnout zlepšení procesů souvisejících s výrobou a prodejem hutních materiálů s cílem zvýšit jejich výkonnost. Pomocí metody DMAIC je vyhodnocen objednávkový proces a jsou navržena opatření na eliminaci plýtvání. U čtyř projektů ze šesti jsou doporučená řešení implementována, na jejichž základě je provedeno vyhodnocení stavu před a po zavedení změn. V návaznosti na výsledky těchto změn byla zodpovězena výzkumná otázka, která řeší, zda plýtvání ovlivňuje výkonnost procesů v hutním průmyslu. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis focuses on the application of Lean management principles and methods in the order processing system of the company Feromax, a.s. The goal of the thesis is to propose improvements to processes related to the production and sale of steel materials with the aim of increasing their performance. Using the DMAIC methodology, the order process is evaluated, and measures to eliminate waste are proposed. The recommended solutions are implemented in four projects, based on which an assessment of the status before and after the changes is conducted. Based on the results of these changes, the research question addressing whether waste impacts the performance of processes in the steel industry is answered. |
