| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení nákladové efektivity transkatetrové implantace (TAVI) aortální chlopně SAPIEN 3 ve srovnání s tradiční metodou chirurgické náhrady aortální chlopně v České republice. Cílem práce bylo analyzovat, zda je metoda TAVI nákladově efektivní alternativou v kontextu českého zdravotnictví. Pro analýzu byla použita metoda cost-utility analysis, která porovnává náklady na jednotku zlepšení kvality života (QALY). Výsledky ukázaly, že TAVI, přestože je spojeno s vyššími počátečními náklady, nabízí nákladově efektivní řešení aortální stenózy v České republice. Práce rovněž ukázala, že TAVI přináší nižší náklady na následnou péči, rychlejší rekonvalescenci, nižší výskyt komplikací a zlepšení kvality života pacientů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) using the SAPIEN 3 valve compared to the traditional surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) method in the Czech Republic. The aim of the study was to analyze whether TAVI is a cost-effective alternative within the context of the Czech healthcare system. The cost-utility analysis method was used for the evaluation, comparing the cost per quality-adjusted life year (QALY) gained. The results showed that although TAVI is associated with higher initial costs, it provides a cost-effective solution for aortic stenosis in the Czech Republic. The study also demonstrated that TAVI leads to lower costs for follow-up care, faster recovery, fewer complications, and an improvement in patients' quality of life. |
