| Abstract: | Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu důvodů předčasného ukončení spor-tovní kariéry mezi vrcholovými triatlonisty. Hlavním cílem je identifiko-vat nejčastější faktory vedoucí k rozhodnutí ukončit kariéru, přičemž se soustředí na oblasti motivace, systémové podpory, zranění a finanční náročnosti. Metodologicky je výzkum založen na kvalitativní analýze ne-strukturovaných rozhovorů s bývalými triatlonisty, kteří byli součástí systematické přípravy, ale ukončili kariéru před dosažením význam-ných úspěchů. Data jsou zpracována prostřednictvím narativní analýzy, která umožňuje hlubší pochopení osobních příběhů respondentů a je-jich klíčových rozhodnutí. Výsledky práce přinášejí návrhy na zlepšení systémové podpory, které mohou přispět ke snížení míry předčasného ukončení sportovních kariér. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on analyzing the reasons behind the premature termination of athletic careers among elite triathletes. The primary aim is to identify the most common factors leading to career-ending decisions, with a focus on motivation, systemic support, injuries, and financial challenges. Methodologically, the research is based on qualitative analysis of unstructured interviews with former triathletes who were part of systematic training programs but ended their careers before achieving significant success. The data are processed through narrative analysis, providing a deeper understanding of the respondents' personal stories and key decisions. The findings of the study offer recommendations for improving systemic support to help reduce the incidence of premature athletic career terminations. |
