| Abstract: | Ústředním tématem této kvalifikační práce je evaluace kulturního eventu, konkrétně festivalu Táborská setkání, který je největší kulturní akcí v táborském regionu. Po více než 30 letech existence festivalu nebyl organizátory ani vedením festivalu vytvořen žádný komplexní systém pro hodnocení jeho efektivity, který je potřeba ať už po pandemii Covid-19 nebo související ekonomické krizi. Cílem práce je evaluovat festival a zhodnotit jeho současný stav, kriticky posoudit dosavadní evaluaci prováděnou pořadateli, navrhnout relevantní změny a nové postupy pro efektivnější hodnocení festivalu v budoucnu. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na typologii kulturních eventů, event management a metodiku evaluace. Praktická část se soustředí na hodnocení festivalu z různých perspektiv, jako je ekonomická, názor místní komunity, dramaturgická, mediální, návštěvnická spokojenost a dopady na cestovní ruch. Práce vychází z výzkumu, jehož výsledkem je ověření stanovených hypotéz týkajících se evaluace festivalu. Autorka navrhuje doporučení pro zlepšení evaluace a lepší sběr dat, což pomůže organizátorům při strategickém rozhodování pro budoucí ročníky festivalu. |

| Abstract: | The central theme of this thesis is the evaluation of a cultural event, specifically the Táborská setkání festival, which is the largest cultural event in the Tábor region. After more than 30 years of the festival’s existence, neither the organizers nor the festival management have created a comprehensive system for assessing its effectiveness, which is needed both after the COVID-19 pandemic and the related economic crisis. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the festival and assess its current state, critically examine the evaluation conducted by the organizers, and propose relevant changes and new procedures for more effective evaluation of the festival in the future. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the typology of cultural events, event management, and evaluation methodology. The practical part focuses on assessing the festival from various perspectives, such as economic, local community opinion, dramaturgical, media, visitor satisfaction, and its impact on tourism. The thesis is based on research, the outcome of which is the verification of established hypotheses regarding the evaluation of the festival. The author proposes recommendations for improving the evaluation and better data collection, which will assist the organizers in making strategic decisions for future editions of the festival. |
