| Abstract: | Zdravotnictví a jeho aspekty jsou obvykle srovnávány na mezinárodní, národní a oborové úrovni. Téměř neexistují práce porovnávající jednot-livá oddělení nemocnice. Identifikace neefektivit je důležitá pro rozho-dování o účelné alokaci omezených zdrojů. Tématem práce je nalézt vhodné proměnné a metodiku pro srovnání efektivity nemocničních oddělení navzájem. Posouzení efektivity oddělení slouží jako řídící ná-stroj pro management nemocnic. Analýza obalu dat (data envelopment analysis) je vhodnou metodou pro benchmarking ve zdravotnictví. Práce navrhuje funkční, validní a univerzální postup pro srovnání efektivity nemocničních oddělení. |

| Abstract: | Healthcare and its aspects are usually compared at international, national and sectoral levels. There are almost no works comparing individual hospital departments. Identification of inefficiencies is important for making decisions about the effective allocation of limited resources. The topic of the work is to find suitable variables and methodology for comparing the efficiency of hospital departments with each other. Assessment of department efficiency serves as a management tool for hospital management. Data envelopment analysis is a suitable method for benchmarking in healthcare. The work proposes a functional, valid and universal procedure for comparing the efficiency of hospital departments. |
