| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu symfonického orchestru jako univerzálního modelu kulturní instituce, která hraje klíčovou roli v uměleckém, vzdělávacím a kulturním kontextu. Práce se soustředí na organizační strukturu, řízení, vnitřní a vnější vztahy a právní aspekty orchestru, přičemž konkrétně zkoumá dva české orchestry – Českou filharmonii a Jihočeskou filharmonii. Cílem je teoreticky popsat fungování orchestru jako modelové kulturní instituce a prakticky analyzovat organizační rozdíly. Analýza vychází z dostupné literatury, veřejně dostupných dat a rozhovorů s vedením vybraných orchestrů. Práce také zkoumá kulturní vliv orchestru, jeho postavení ve společnosti a roli v mezinárodní spolupráci. Komparativní část se zaměřuje na rozdíly v organizačním uspořádání a dopadech na kulturní scénu, čímž přispívá k hlubšímu porozumění orchestru jako modelové kulturní instituci. |

| Abstract: | The master´s thesis focuses on the analysis of the symphony orchestra as a universal model of a cultural institution that plays a key role in the artistic, educational and cultural context. The thesis focuses on the organisational structure, management, internal and external relations and legal aspects of the orchestra, specifically examining two Czech orchestras - the Czech Philharmonic and the South Bohemian Philharmonic. The aim is to theoretically describe the functioning of the orchestra as a model cultural institution and to practically analyse the organisational differences. The analysis is based on available literature, publicly available data and interviews with the management of the selected orchestras. The thesis also examines the cultural influence of the orchestra, its position in society and its role in international cooperation. The comparative section focuses on differences in organizational arrangements and impacts on the cultural scene, contributing to a deeper understanding of the orchestra as a model cultural institution. |
