| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se bude zabývat trendy v hudebním průmyslu, které se týkají nových forem a nástrojů managementu hudebních umělců. V teoretické části se zaměří především na popsání vývoje a principu velkých nahrávacích společností a zhodnotí výhody a nevýhody podepsání smlouvy. Bude zjišťovat, jak se velká vydavatelství přizpůsobují poptávce umělců po větší nezávislosti. Dále se bude věnovat fenoménu nezávislého vydávání hudby, vysvětlí význam nezávislých vydavatelství a principu a nástrojům plně nezávislého vydávání hudby autorem. Praktická část zmapuje situaci hudebního průmyslu a managementu v prostředí České republiky a bude sledovat rozdíly mezi českými umělci, kteří vydávají hudbu pod managementem velkého labelu a těmi, co vydávají hudbu nezávisle. Pokusí se také přiblížit nabízené služby a fungování nezávislých vydavatelství v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the topic of trends in the music industry that relate to new forms and tools of music artist management. The theoretical part focuses mainly on describing the development and principle of large recording companies and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of signing a contract. It investigates how large labels are adapting to artists' demand for greater independence. It also focuses on the phenomenon of independent music publishing, explains the topic of independent labels and the principle and tools of sole independent music publishing. The practical part maps the situation of the music industry and management in the Czech Republic and observes the differences between Czech artists who release music under the management of a large label and those who release music independently. It also tries to describe the services offered and the functioning of independent labels in the Czech Republic. |
