| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou železniční dopravy jako součásti Pražské integrované dopravy (PID), zaměřenou na historii, současný stav a budoucí rozvoj systému. Práce popisuje význam železnice jako páteřního prvku integrovaného dopravního systému, který zajišťuje efektivní a udržitelnou mobilitu v Praze a přilehlých oblastech. Analýza zahrnuje zhodnocení tarifní struktury, která usnadňuje cestování prostřednictvím jednotného jízdného, a identifikaci výzev a doporučení pro její optimalizaci. Součástí práce je i hodnocení plánovaných investic do infrastruktury, včetně projektů jako napojení Letiště Václava Havla na železnici a rozvoj systému Metro S. Výsledky práce mohou přispět k dalšímu zkvalitnění služeb veřejné dopravy a k podpoře její širšího využití. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the analysis of rail transport as part of the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) system, with an emphasis on the history, current state, and future development of the system. The study highlights the significance of railways as a backbone element of the integrated transport network, providing efficient and sustainable mobility within Prague and its surrounding areas. The analysis includes an evaluation of the fare structure, which facilitates travel through a unified ticketing system, along with the identification of challenges and recommendations for its optimization. The thesis also assesses planned infrastructure investments, including projects such as the connection of Václav Havel Airport to the railway network and the development of the Metro S system. The findings of this work may contribute to the further enhancement of public transport services and support its broader use. |
