| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na současnou sklářskou produkci v České republice, na největší výzvy českého designového sklářství, jeho udržitelnost a význam tohoto řemesla. Teoretická část definuje pojmy, důležité pro pochopení celého sklářského oboru, je zaměřena na historii sklářské výroby, designové sklářství, sklářský průmysl v České republice, možnosti prodeje sklářských výrobků a výzvy současného sklářského oboru. V praktické části je analyzováno šest rozhovorů, které byly provedeny s významnými designovými sklářskými firmami. Výzkum se věnuje oblasti snižování emisí CO2, cen energií, využití recyklace skla, trhu se sklem, využití umělé inteligence ve sklářství a oblasti kvalifikovaných pracovníků designového sklářství. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí výzkumu. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on the current glass production in the Czech Republic, the biggest challenges of Czech design glassmaking, its sustainability and the importance of this craft. The theoretical part defines concepts important for understanding the whole glass industry, focuses on the history of glass production, design glassmaking, the glass industry in the Czech Republic, the possibilities of selling glass products and the challenges of the current glass industry. The practical part analyses six interviews conducted with major design glass companies. The research focuses on the area of CO2 reduction, energy prices, the use of glass recycling, the glass market, the use of artificial intelligence in the glass industry and the area of skilled workers in the design glass industry. The thesis concludes with a summary of the research. |
