| Abstract: | Do stanovení sportovního cíle promlouvá celá řada faktorů a je to činnost důle-žitá pro budoucí směřování sportovce v neustále se měnícím prostředí. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zkoumaní a posouzení vlivu manažera, trenéra, spor-tovce a rodičů na stanovení sportovního cíle. Výzkum proběhl jak v podobě kvantitativního výzkumu za pomoci metody PALMS měřící motivy k pohybové aktivitě, tak formou kvalitativního výzkumu polo-strukturovaným rozhovorem s trenérem zkoumaného basketbalového klubu. Zjištění, kterých výzkum dosáhl jsou vztažená na zkoumaný sportovní klub a konkrétněji i na kategorii kadetů U17. Nastavení práce s mládeží je zde podpora talentovaných jedinců, kde se hlavní práce odehrává mezi mladým sportovcem a jeho trenérem. Rodiče již nemají u této věkové kategorie výrazný vliv na sportovní cíle svého potomka. |

| Abstract: | A number of factors go into setting a sporting goal and it is an important activity for the future direction of the athlete in an ever-changing environment. The aim of this thesis was to investigate and assess the influence of the manager, coach, athletic trainer and parents on sport goal setting. The research took the form of both quantitative research using the PALMS method measuring motives for physical activity and qualitative research through a semi-structured interview with the coach of the basketball club under study. The findings achieved by the research are related to the sports club under study and more specifically to the U17 cadet category. The setting of youth work here is the support of talented individuals, where the main work takes place between the young athlete and their coach. Parents no longer have a significant influence on their offspring's sporting goals at this age category. |
