| Abstract: | Ústředním tématem této bakalářské práce je pojednání o chudobě jako dílčím aspektu tzv. Teorie blahobytu. Mým cílem bude zmapování současného výskytu chudoby ve světě. V teoreticko-analytické části čtenář nalezne odpovědi na otázky: co vlastně pojem chudoba znamená, a s jakými obtížemi jsou spojeny její definice; jakými způsoby se dá chudoba měřit, a co nám znesnadňuje komparaci zemí trpících chudobou; proč se některým částem světa blahobyt vyhýbá, a zda tyto oblasti mají společného jmenovatele; jaké existují nástroje při potírání chudoby. V praktické části budu sledovat vývoj průměrné délky života, a porovnávat životní úroveň rozvojových zemí za pomoci indexu lidského rozvoje. V závěru ještě zmíním mezinárodní organizace s největším vlivem při potírání chudoby ve světě. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's work deals with the poverty as a part of the welfare theory. I want to find out the current level of poverty in the world. The reader can find, in the theoretical part of this work, answers to the following questions: what is the poverty and what difficulties are connected with the definitions of it; how can we measure the poverty and what is the hardest thing about the comparison of poor countries; why the welfare don't exist in some countries and what has these countries in common; what tools exist for the poverty reduction. Than I will investigate development of life expecnancy and compare the standard of living in the developing countries. At the close I wil mention the most influential organizations in combating of poverty. |
