Tato diplomová práce se zabývá udržitelnými financemi a rolí Evropské investiční banky (EIB) při jejich podpoře. V teoretické části jsou představeny klíčové pojmy a koncepty spojené s udržitelnými financemi, a také Evropská investiční banka a její aktuální zaměření na otázky klimatu a financování udržitelných projektů. Praktická část práce poté analyzuje působení EIB v České republice a způsoby její kooperace s dalšími tržními subjekty, zejména pak s komerčními bankami a s vybranými společnostmi, které jsou klíčové pro českou ekonomiku. Výsledky práce ukázaly, že Evropská investiční banka hraje zásadní roli při podpoře udržitelných projektů v naší zemi, a to jak prostřednictvím přímého financování, tak spoluprací s finančními zprostředkovateli, čímž výrazně přispívá k rozvoji systému udržitelných financí v České republice. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis deals with sustainable finance and the role of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in supporting this system. The theoretical part introduces key terms and concepts related to sustainable finance, as well as the European Investment Bank and its current focus on climate issues and financing sustainable projects. The practical part of the thesis analyses the EIB's activities in the Czech Republic and its cooperation with other market entities, especially commercial banks and selected companies that are crucial for the Czech economy. The results of the diploma thesis showed that the European Investment Bank plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable projects in our country, both through direct financing and cooperation with financial intermediaries, thereby significantly contributing to the development of the sustainable finance system in the Czech Republic. |
