Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá politicko-ekonomickým systémem Španělska s důrazem na postavení Katalánska jako jedné z jeho autonomních oblastí. Cílem práce je analyzovat, jak španělský model decentralizace ovlivňuje rozdělení pravomocí a fiskální uspořádání mezi centrální vládou a regiony. První část práce se věnuje politickému uspořádání Španělska, včetně režimů financování autonomních oblastí a pozice Katalánska v rámci tohoto systému. Druhá část poskytuje ekonomickou analýzu jednotlivých regionů se zaměřením na jejich příspěvek k HDP, zaměstnanosti a další ukazatele výkonnosti. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována Katalánsku jako jednomu z ekonomicky nejsilnějších regionů. Třetí část se soustředí na politický vývoj ve Španělsku a v Katalánsku, včetně klíčových událostí, jako jsou referenda o nezávislosti a reakce centrální vlády. Práce tak nabízí komplexní pohled na propojení ekonomických a politických aspektů současného Španělska a hodnotí potenciál regionů, jako je Katalánsko, usilujících o větší autonomii či samostatnost. |

This bachelor’s thesis examines the political and economic system of Spain, with a particular focus on the position of Catalonia as one of its autonomous communities. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how Spain’s model of decentralization affects the distribution of powers and fiscal arrangements between the central government and the regions. The first part of the thesis explores the political organization of Spain, including the systems of regional financing and the role of Catalonia within this structure. The second part provides an economic analysis of the autonomous regions, focusing on their contribution to GDP, employment, and other performance indicators. Special attention is given to Catalonia, as one of the most economically powerful regions. The third part addresses the political development in Spain and selected autonomous regions, highlighting key events such as independence referenda and the response of the central government. The thesis offers a comprehensive overview of the interaction between economic and political aspects of modern Spain and evaluates the potential of regions like Catalonia to achieve greater autonomy or independence. |
